Down jackets are not cheap, but essential in the colder months. Just like patching a tire, there are jacket patches to help limp along one year to the next. I will say of the patches I have tried the hexagon shape has been the least prone to peeling. However, it's very challenging to match the exact color and, after time (and wear) these will still need to be reapplied like any other patches on the market. Great for the price, very functional, but (obviously) a band-aid approach.

I very much like the variety of pre-cut shapes and sizes. There are both oval and round shapes and each shape came in a variety of sizes. I stuck a patch on my dog's down coat next to a previous patch which is a box-store, name brand (Dritz) adhesive patches for comparison. The stickiness of the Dritz adhesive patch was not as good and you can see how it was already lifting after a couple weeks. These patches are not as aggressively grippy as Tenacious tape (awesome stuff) but they cost much less AND they come in pre-cut shapes. It's hard to get a good smooth shape when cutting adhesive patch material to repair outdoor gear and these look great.Be aware that the navy blue is a very dark navy, almost black.

These Down Jacket Repair Patches come in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit most holes. The color is good on my Army Green down jacket. The patches stick well and are easy to use. They have a crosshatch pattern (not overly obvious) which seems to add to their durability. I am very satisfied with these patches.

Our little Corgi, Kobe, made a tear on his vest. We were a bit sad and thought we should just throw it away and buy a new one, but since we really like it, we decided to look into fixing it. We found these patches and decided to give them a try. The package comes with different sizes to select from. Once we selected the best size to cover the hole, we removed the backing on the patch and apply it to the vest. It was sooo easy. At first we figured the patch wouldn't adhere well, or that it will come undone, but so far, it is working great, the adhesion is strong. We are so happy we could keep the vest and it's looking good.

THESE PATCHES ARE VERY GOOD QUALITY. I PLACED ONE OF THE LARGER PATCHES ON MY DOWN JACKET, WHERE MY DOG HAD RIPPED IT AND THE FEATHERS WERE COMING OUT. I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO CLOSE THE HOLE SO I PLACED COUPLE BANDAGES ON IT, BUT LOW AND BEHOLD, I KEPT LOSING FEATHERS. I FOUND THESE PATCHES AND UPON ARRIVAL, I REMOVED THE BANDAGES AND REPLACED THEM WITH ONE OF THE LARGER PATCHES. I HAVE NOT LOST A FEATHER SINCE PLACING THE PATCH ON MY JACKET. THIS PATCH IS NOT TRYING TO COME OFF, SLIDE OFF, OR ANYTHING. THESE WERE A GREAT VALUE.

Offered by the WILDREEDS Store:- I just tore a whole in my expensive down jacket, and was looking for repair options.- Finding that this might be a good option (according to a little online research), I ordered this set.- The patch worked perfectly, and the black color matched my coat exactly. I could not even find where it was after the repair. I have to look very closely to find it.- There are several different sizes included, most for less than an inch. And they can also be cut to the exact size you need.- These were a "life saver" for fixing my jacket quickly, and getting back on the ski slopes with my favorite ski wear.- Awesome deal, I don't think I will ever run out not.- Giving this my highest recommendation.

I'm really pretty impressed with these repair patches. I caught my new heated jacket on something around our ranch. I didn't notice till I came in and was taking my jacket off that it had a 1" rip and the filling was leaking out. The material of my jacket is nylon filled with stuffing.I requested these in the black color and hexagon pattern. For me, the hexagon pattern just made total sense because I could put a patch on close to the edge of my jacket. When they arrived I was happy with the thickness of the patch. I've used nylon repair patches before that were flimsy compared to this patch by Wildreeds.This was a quick and easy fix. Probably the most difficult part of applying these patches is to get the puffy jacket to lay flat without any wrinkles or gathers at the patching area. So I laid it flat on the dining room table and had a family member keep the area wrinkle-free while I stuck the patch on.The patch adheres very well and blends right into the original fabric. Unless someone knows it's there I don't think anyone would notice it. Although it stuck immediately, I left the jacket stationary on the dining room table for 24 hours for it to cure. I'm completely satisfied with how this turned out and with this kit containing 8 patches I just tucked the remainder in my sewing basket for the next time I need them.

Pros:1. I didn’t have to iron the patch on, which is good2. This seems like strong adhesive and that it will hold, time will tell.3. Easy to apply to the coat.Cons:1. Now that I see these in person there is less material here than looked to be in the picture. I did look at the sizes or dimensions too, before ordering.2. There were 8 color choices but the only version of green is army green. Our jacket is more of a hunter green, but this will do in a pinch.3. It was not easy to get the backing paper off of the back of the patch as there was no slit in the backing material.
