This was just what I needed for light torque bolts. Seems well made and works really good for a home shop.

The torque wrench click-release notice of achieving the torque setting functions well. The "SAE" numbers are a bit faint as are etched to appear fuzzy into the setting scale in the metal, whereas the "Metric" scale is etched into the metal as a more bold appearing numbers. I understand the purpose was to help the user to be certain to be looking at the correct scale. The only real problem I have had with using this torque wrench is the spring loaded retaining ball bearing that is to maintain the socket (or extension) onto the wrench was stuck in the extended position as the "punched" metal holding the retaining ball was not imprinted deep enough to keep the steel ball into the proper position with-in the wrench. I oiled the ball and used a punch to lightly tap the over-extended ball into the chamber. However, when I completed the task with using the torque wrench and I removed the drive extension from the wrench, the push-button release and the inner shaft that operates the retaining ball fell out of the wrench head along with the spring located under the pushbutton.

I purchased the UYECOVE 1/2-Inch Drive Click Torque Wrench over a year ago, and it has proven to be an invaluable addition to my tool collection. This torque wrench not only offers a dual-direction click mechanism, but it also features dual range scales (10-160 FT-LB and 13.6-217 Nm), making it incredibly versatile for various projects. The build quality is top-notch; it feels sturdy and well-constructed in hand. The adjustment mechanism is smooth and precise, allowing for quick adjustments without hassle. The click sound is distinct and reassuring, providing a clear indication when the desired torque setting is reached.I've used this wrench for everything from automotive work to home repairs, and it has consistently delivered accurate results each time. The calibration holds up well even after extensive use, and it's easy to store thanks to the included case.Overall, I highly recommend the UYECOVE torque wrench for anyone in need of a reliable, accurate, and user-friendly tool. It's a solid investment that has already paid for itself in the quality of my work. Five stars without hesitation!

Got these torque wrenches to replace the Harbor Freight trash that broke on me before I even used them. These are nice. I got the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2”. Only used the half so far on the front end of my pickup. No issues at all. Numbers are easy to read, it’s got a nice grip, the ability to adjust and it stay locked was a huge selling point for me. Since I got the 250lb 1/2, it was big enough and sturdy enough to torque without fear of it breaking or shearing off.

Worked well for a precision tightening project for an inch lb NOT foot lb requirement. Didn’t want to spend $90 on a rare occurrence project and avoided a specialist fee. Probably not for aerospace use in a first world country. Seems well made with calibration iso certification just like a more expensive NAPA mechanic one. Good machining. Some say it is confusing but if you actually have used a torque wrench before it works just the same!

This torque wrench is very well made. I like the overall finish. Works as it should with no issues so far. I bought this to replace my old one that was getting old and was never nice to use . This new one is way better as far as a inexpensive one can be. So far it seems to be accurate. My only real complaint is that the number scale on the main body is etched on very lightly and is a bit hard to read in some types of lighting, otherwise I love it and will use it a lot!!! Price was very good for a nice tool.

Update 04/03/2023Changing rating from 2 stars to 4 stars and would give it 5 stars if it was easier to read.Could not have done my rear brakes without it--smaller head than 1/2" drive torque wrench so had better access in tight quarters, coupled with a stubby impact socket, I was able to torque my difficult rear brake caliper bracket bolts. Could not have done the job without it and the stubby impact socket--since this torque wrench reads up to 110 NM, it could be used--not all 3/8 drive torque wrenches go that high.It is easy to select and set, but for the difficulty in reading the scale. If they could fix the difficulty in reading issue, this would be a 5 star product for sure.>>>Just received it today. Have not used yet. But wow, It is so hard to read the etchings, and the reflective chrome certainly does not help.Even with a magnifying glass or a magnifying visor, it is hard to read--that's why Tekton has a brushed chrome finish to make the etchings more readable.Setting the torque is easy with the slider collar, and it could be easy to use, but for not being able to read the marked settings--a fatal flaw in my opinion--what were the designers of this item thinking? No matter how good it is, if it is not legible (hard to read), then not viable as a contender. The head is small, which is why I got it, so it can fit into tight spots. and it is shorter than my 1/2 drive Tekton, with the massive head that cannot fit.The other reason I opted for this is because it goes up to 100 Ft. Lbs. rather than 80 Ft. Lbs. as many 3/8 drive torque wrenches do--I need to use it for 110 NM, which is 81.125 Ft. Lbs.Could do the job, but wow, so hard to read--would have to wear a magnifying visor to set it, and even then have to tilt it to catch the proper reflection. Can I paint the etchings in black on white to make them more visible? Would that work???? Would the paint gum up the sliding mechanism? Sigh!
