The shielding on this cable is braided so it can be used for either soldered or solderless connections. It's not the thickest wire, but a guitar or bass signal doesn't require much.

I have no negative comment about this cable either. After literally hundreds of patch cable Tries these are so clear. Just like George l’s with a more stable connection. Bought 5 extra packages just for replacements.

I hope somebody from the company responds, because I can't find a decent support link anywhere. I used the KE jacks, got 2 out of 6 to work but that's it. I tried every possible isolation. I inserted cable easy and harder, took a known good end and isolated, notated ends for every possible combination, meter tested, the works. I tested the bare cable (no ends) hot lead and often got NO ohms on the meter! If I get a good answer and don't have to return the product, I will update and upgrade the rating.

The patch cable connectors require the screw to go through the rubber coating of the cable to contact the ground of the patch cable connector. The coating is too soft, so I could never get the screw to make sufficient contact to get a segregated connection between the tip and sleeve.

It's always handy to have solderless supplies, even if your out on the road or at a gig not everyone has a soldering iron on hand to fix a cable, but this stuff works in a pinch. It's not a gas tight solution, but it works on the fly.

works well...or as it should...replaced all my other pedal board cables with it very low noise yet i now have a higher output now. so i either had some cable loss prior even with a buffered output or this stuff carries more. lots more high end and high mids exist now. I am tweaking my touring rig these cables and ends made a significant difference at a reasonable cost.
