This utensil is basically useless for picking up pasta. All types of pasta slip right through it if you’re trying to serve it while it’s still wet from being boiled. And the spoon is super shallow, so even if you’re trying to serve pasta that’s not wet, you can only spoon a tiny amount at a time. Yes, it looks pretty and it’s wood, yadda yadda yadda… Do NOT waste your money if you actually want something to serve pasta with. Mine’s going in my garage-sale box.

Fast shipping and although the item is light weight, it appears quality made. I gave 3 stars because I don't feel item is as described. I wanted a "claw" and in the picture that I saw, the item did look like a claw, but when it arrived, it was a flat spoon, very flat, not at all what I wanted! I would not have purchased it had I known it was not a claw, but I will keep it.
