Bought this set to try on a harbor freight 3500 lb winch and so far performs as it should. I really like the ease of getting to the battery and thy type of battery is one that is readily available at most stores.

I had to re-read the directions about 100 times to understand what was going on, but I eventually got this to work with my T-Boss 550 SxS. Sadly, the existing housing would not fit the receiver, so I have it dangling off to the side and zip-tied on, but it works.I'm taking off 1 star only because the instructions are so enigmatic. The product as a hole functions just fine, though.

I ordered this product in hopes of being able to use my winch. Product shows up and open the box to find the remotes looks like something you'd find at the dollar store marked for clearance. So either way I said to hell with it and installed it anyways.The wiring connectors are very cheap and poorly executed, looks like something a backyard mechanic would do but way worse, next the holes in 3 out of the 4 connectors are too small to put a bolt through.Finally got everything installed and mounted to my winch, hook it up to the battery and the transmitter box just clicks, winch won't move at all. I verified thay the solenoid itself is still good by using my wired remote plug and jumping the terminals real quick.There's no real way to trouble shoot what the problem would be or how to fix it, so you're left with messaging the seller and hope they can either give you a fix over email orn just refund so you can buy a different t one

Worked perfect on my Smittybuilt XCR gen 2 winch. I wired it so I can use the wired controller or the remote. Update I've had this remote installed for over two years now and it still works perfectly. I mounted the control box in the winch relay box and it has worked. I use this winch to pull cars out of ditches, a bus out of a muddy field and numerus other heavy things.

This remote is easy to install and works as it should. I have a 5000lbs winch mounted in my enclosed trailer and can free spool the winch out and stand by the car to guide it into the trailer while winching it up. Works perfect for my application. I'm going to order another set for my open car trailer. I would recomend to anyone wanting a remote for their winch. Rick
