I bought some brass plated acorn nuts at the hardware store and that was tragic. I punctured the top tightening them down. These ones in 304 stainless did the trick and cost a lot less for 4x as many. The stainless look is shiny and dried wood glue wipes right off, which is helpful in my application.Great for covering the ends of bolts that might accidentally get contact with a human.
