Doesn't it make sense that you can store 12x12 scrapbook paper in a binder? Since, you know, that's what you can use to MAKE a scrapbook? Unfortunately, they don't make huge 12x12 binders, so I had to make one myself, which required taking apart a smaller binder and reusing the mechanism. These Chicago screws were exactly what I needed to secure the mechanism. They're the right size for the pre-existing binder holes and the different depths were good for figuring out how tightly I wanted it held.

I have used these on several yard tools to hold the implements to the wooden handles. The assortment of lengths is convenient. With a 120 piece assortment, It would e more convenient to have some assorted lengths on the male ends as well as a few diameter choices.

These Chicago-style screws are ideal for many things, and thus I found an assortment kit would be handy. The quality of this screw set is great. They are well-made and have no defects or issues. These are great for 3D printed parts since this type of screw allows for more contact area with the plastic when compared to a typical screw and nut. This contact aread over the length of the screw can enhance the stability and strength of the plastic-metal connection.Overall, I give the SCXCLY assortment screw kit five stars. The quality, variety of sizes, and organizer case make this kit a valuable addition.

I am always doing some sort of wood project and building somethingI thought these might be a good addition to the normal screws and pegs I normally use.The set is pretty complete and will indefinitely be good as I try to incorporate new materials into my projects.The are sort of chrome coated steel so best for inside and dry environment projects.

They say M5x which would usually be a thread designation, but what they mean is that the barrels are 5mm in diameter. The threads are not M5, they're smaller. (Which is a problem if you need to buy longer bolts to use with them)
