I've had this now for 2+ years on my air intake. This filter has done an excellent job of keeping the radiator and fan dust free.Just be sure to clear the debris from the filter on a regular basis.

worked great, required cutting with a pair scissors, it originally was thin foam. this should be more durable and easier to clean

WARNING - DO NOT buy this.I placed this on all the intake fans to prevent dust from building up inside the case.And it literally blocks 98% of the air from going into the case.I have (3) 2,000-rpm fans going full throttle 24-7 (AS INTAKE)to feed the case with fresh air. and when I installed this on the (3)-front INTAKE FANS,Extremely little air was going into the case. I placed my hand at the other end within (inside) the case,and can barely feel any air going into the case.Then when I take these off,Its like a tornado that came back with a rush of air coming into the case again.I tried in the front of the fans and in the back. Both methods are the same. It chokes the PC of air.So if you are looking to get these for your case, to prevent air from going into your case, DON'T.This will do the complete opposite. Installing this on (Intake Fans) WILL choke your system,from fresh air.I DO NOT like giving bad reviews sorry, but this product chokes a PC from fresh air.I had high hopes for this product. 🤷♀️👀😢

They will certainly restrict some airflow but anything you place in front of a fan will do that…. Other than that they will work perfectly for my application

They look nice and are easy to install, but restrict airflow considerably. Like... Cut airflow coming from my fans easily in half making the fans essentially useless.

I recently built a pc for my son and added 2 120mm fans to the front. But the problem is the fans were exposed...no mesh or grill etc. also, the fans were close enough to parts of the front pane that the blades were hitting it.In inserted these filters between each fan and the rubbing is gone and hopefully the dust will be kept to a minimum.They look great and come with appropriate screws.

These filters are perfect but the screws are a little short. Normally you would sandwich the filter between the case vent and fan but after the thicknesses of the case material and filter there is only a small length of the screw left to securely grab into the fan's mounting hole. However they are still long enough to work fine, unless your case material is unusually thick or the fan's mounting holes have been mangled by previous screws. Screws are black to match most of today's cases. These screws are an added bonus anyway because your fan probably already has screws.Some people complain that filters are only a dust magnet - but that's exactly the point! You are trying to prevent dust from being sucked into the case where it will deposit on the CPU heatsink and fan, and other components which could eventually result in overheating. It's much easier to occasionally vacuum the dust off the filtered vent than to open the case and clean the dust off the components. These filters have a smooth finish so dust should vacuum off easily. Obviously, you should install a filter only on the fans blowing INTO the case, not the fans exhausting air out of the case.
