I am in love with wooden wick candles. Making them with these are the best. They burn very well.

I wanted to switch the wicks on some candles because they didn't burn well, there's used to always be a bunch of left over wax around the side of the jar, so I'm obviously new to candle making. The first one, I just melted wax and stuck the wick in. It burned way too fast and didn't fast, just a whole down the middle. I didn't know you had to soak the wick in oil first. I did so for my second and it was much better. I like the crackle sound when it burns, it reminds me of the crackle from a fireplace.
