I'm building some cabinets with shelves and so, of course, I will need some shelf pins to hold those shelves. These shelf pins are simple but strong--there's not much that can go wrong with them. They fit into the 5mm holes perfectly. I know, you'd think that's a low bar, but I've gotten batches of shelf pins (not from this seller) that actually don't fit 5mm holes in spite of being advertised as being intended for 5mm shelf pin holes, so it was a relief to get these and have them fit--they're easy to insert, but not so loose that you worry about them slipping out. They're small and unobtrusive, and there are enough to support 30 shelves (at least if you use 4 pins per shelf like I do).

These are a wonderful value for such a multi-pack and fit your standard bookcase, shelving and cabinets. I appreciate being able to buy these here as I don't see them at hardware stores in my area. It gives me peace of mind because those little silver things are apt to be lost if you move, redecorate or adjust shelving. Now if I can only find super easy options to add a shelf layer I would be very happy.Packaging needs to be improved. Item arrived in plastic box that was not sealed properly. There should be an additional plastic layer that covered the. box. As a result, everything was in pieces all over the place when I received it and I had to individually collect them together. Took 1 star off for poor forethought in packaging during transit.
