I was really glad to find these. I’ve got a lot of vinyl and I like keeping them in the milk crates trying to keep it old school. But I wanted something to protect them from the dust and also fingerprints and stuff while I’m flipping through them and these are perfect. The plastic is nice heavy weight but also not too much and they fit the standard album really well and a bunch of them came in the box so yeah, I’m really very pleased. Definitely highly recommended.

These vinyl outer covers work great for protecting your album covers. These protective covers are made from a thick, clear vinyl so that you can easily see and read what's on the ablum covers. I found it easy to slide a single album into the protective cover and some thinner (older) double albums as well. I did have trouble with the new double albums and I was unable to put a tri-fold album in one. However, most new albums come in a protective cover and in those cases, I simply use those. If you have an album collection and you value the artwork, do yourself a favor and get yourself some protection.

I've been using the name brand inner and outer sleeves for my records for a few years. These came up and I thought I'd give them a try. I honestly don't see any difference in the quality. These are crystal clear, and fit snugly enough to not be sloppy or loose, but are generously sized enough to accommodate most double albums and gatefolds. And you get 120 of them for a very good price. They're 3 mil, which is on the thicker side. Honestly, 4 mil is a little much, and 2 feels cheap, so this is really the sweet spot. Definitely recommended.

Love the bulk amount, they are super clear and durable not gotten foggy or scratchy after several pulls from the stack overall good quality brand of sleeves would buy more and check out any inner sleeves they offer

I have been adding to my original vinyl record collection for years now. As it has become more of a serious collection rather than a nostalgic one, I have been purchasing polypropylene sleeves to protect the album covers. I have also had to purchase inner sleeves to protect the actual records (if they don’t have their original ones). These sleeves are very basic, not much of a difference between brands. They are made of high-density polypropylene. However, HSGUS has added a few twists that improve on a simple product. If you have ever fumbled trying to open the polypropylene sleeves AND place a 12” disc or album cover into them, you know that it can be tricky sometimes. HSGUS high-density polypropylene sleeves have a treatment on the open edges that makes them easy to separate and much easier to insert the album cover. The outer sleeves are 3 mils thick and crystal clear. They are big enough to handle any album and most gatefold albums. Keeping your vinyl collection in tip-top shape is a MUST for collectors and hobbyists.

The funny thing is, when you lay the sleeve on top of a gatefold cover, it actually looks bigger and like it will go in. Too bad, the width of the cover spine will just spread all that out and it won't fit; I put a pic of my one my gatefold's here so you can the size, Air's Moon Safari. I don't know why these manufacturers don't just make a 13" option and call it a day--I'd buy strictly that, even for my standard single record sleeves. They are otherwise fine though, but I picked them up because I thought with that extra .75" it would get some of my gatefold 2-discs covered. Nope. They are very clear, however, and they seem durable. I've only had one tear right at the edge when trying to put a gatefold in at first--and gently. They'll get some use for new single record additions, and they are a 4 for me. Still have to find some good-sized for gatefold.
