This product is a fine stainless steel wire mesh screen that will prevent embers from entering the house by way of roof eve vents, dormer vents and lower vents.The 1/4" screen currently installed on my house is to prevent animals, rodents and large bugs, not burning embers from a wildfire. I placed this screen over the existing screen and used drywall screws to secure it into place temporarily until I can install a more permanant solution.On the side that faces the canyon, I sealed off those openings with small sheet metal pieces sold at the local hardware stores as Roof Flashing for about $1.70 each.

I used this for a hydraulic pump filter on a very old tractor. The material is very easy to work with and the mesh is true 120, no bunching or gaps in it either. It's high quality, and it will work really well in a filtering type application.Love it!

It can also be used to strain out larger particles from water.This mesh is good quality with even mesh openings and is easy to cut with shears or tin snips. It might be a little hard on scissors.I am using this to seal openings in radio gear from emitting any stray RF and also to act as a filter for the inlet fans. It is easy to shape.This is a good value and works very well.

This is a great filter screen and I am very happy with it. I had no problem cutting out the pieces I needed. The mesh is very fine and will work perfect for a long time. Recommended by this old guy :)

I bought this mesh to attach to a rack to prevent splatter when cooking in the oven. I wish this mesh was just a little bit less fine. But it catches the grease splatter well. And is easy to clean
