No indicator on the cartridges that they truly are food grade. I just finished the 20 that came with the bottle. I tried 4 of these so far and all have a funky oily taste. I have a hard time believing they are food grade. Relabel BB gun cartridges is a possible answer. Please prove me wrong.

I use these for my Soda Sparkle. They are a bit short, but I read previous reviews where others bought them and put a shim of some sorts on top of the cartridge. I did that using a round slice of cork from a wine bottle. Worth the savings and a simple fix. Will buy them again!

Can't beat this price. Work great on my Hamilton Beach Fizzini; less than half the price. I bought a case. Seriously, there is no reason to buy the expensive brand name cartridges, no matter what the manufacturer said. These are the exact same thing. They will fit and do the trick. Buy a case and you never run out.

This is one of those products it's hard to say much about. It's just there and does its job. In this case it provides the carbonation to add to a liquid in a seltzer bottle or other carbonating device. It's just a simple canister of carbon dioxide with a seal that can be punctured in the carbonating device, releasing the pressurized gas. This brand is about the lowest priced I've seen and they work just fine. No need to pay more.Simple as that.

Ordered the Mastrad Purefizz soda maker and needed some chargers for it, with these appearing to be the best value from Amazon. Not Prime eligible, alas, but with shipping they were not too bad. For those unaware, the Purefizz does not come with cylinders, so you need to find some before use. The selection locally is non-existent, so mail order is the only option for me.The cylinders are made in Hungary, which in my mind is a little safer than those from other countries that lack regulation, so for a food item it is acceptable. They work as advertised in the Purefizz, making a nice batch of soda water. I don't make anything other than plain soda water, so I cannot comment on its application to other drinks. They are also recyclable, being steel, so after each single use they are tossed in our recycling bin for city pickup.Only negative, and thus one star subtraction is the fact that two of the 10-packs (the 120 pack is 12 of these boxes) were missing a cylinder, leaving the pack at 118. We are about half way through the pack, but hopefully those missing two were just random packing issues at the factory.
