HROMIGRY Heavy Duty Wedge Concrete Anchors

Our wedge anchor bolts for concrete are available in diameters of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", and are available in zinc plated carbon steel and stainless steel to make the through bolt resistant to rust.

Installation Instructions

1

Using the hammer drill to drill a hole in the concrete, which is as big as the diameter of the wedge anchor.

2

Clean out all the dust and debris of the hole.

3

Hammer the anchor into the drilled hole to the desired depth.

4

Tighten the nut with a torque wrench to ensure the bottom portion wedge is expanded in order to lock the anchor in place firmly.

INSTALLATION TIPS:

1. Be sure to drill the hole straight.

2. Thread nut to the desired depth before hammering to avoid damaging the thread and knocking too deep.

3. Once the anchor is inserted, it will not be easily removed due to the expansion clip.

4. Choose the right size drill bit, drill the hole that is the same diameter as the anchor, larger hole may cause the bolt to rotate during tightening.

5. You can drill the hole slightly deeper than the entire length of the anchor, so that if you want to remove the anchored item later you can hammer the anchor down into the hole.

The quality of these HROMIGRY Concrete Anchors rates10 out of 10. The anchors have a blue mark on the thread section to indicate how deep the anchor should be driven. These anchors can be used on concrete with confidence that they will wedge into the concrete and hold tightly. The nut and washer are included and also sturdy and great quality. There are no negatives about these concrete anchors. 10 Stars!!

I've worked in construction for 40 years and for a home improvement project there great, in industry worked you have to documents showing the grade of the steel but for general no inspection work these are the way to go for the price

Time and weather have conspired to delay project which needed these. Will update this review after they are installed. However...Initial observation is that they appear to be a bit shy on QC. Checked several by hand and noticed in some cases there was more than expected "slop" between the nut and bolt. Several bolts also had slight irregularities - the outermost part of the thread was very slight flattened, apparently after manufacture as the coating on the flat was removed. It is pretty slight and barely perceptible, however it is enough to prevent the nut from freely moving past the marred point by hand - even given the nut-bolt slop. I'm pretty sure with a wrench it will self-correct. However these two observations lead me to believe that depending on how critical your connection is, this fastener could either be a good bargain or a bad idea. Based only on my observations, would probably not use these on a mission critical type job.

These are very high-quality wedge anchors. Used them to secure the floor plate for a room I am building in my shop.

Large set of Concrete bolt anchors for brick, stone, cement, and concrete. We're installing a new handrail on our concrete patio and these will surely come in handy. Solid carbon steel and zinc plated. Comes in a variety of sizes to choose from and can be used for securing fence posts, as mounting hardware, plumbing and electrical, and many more. Easy to use and secure your surface and the expansion clip allows for slight movement.

We are pouring a concrete slab for the gazebo we bought (because a proper concrete pad will be the only way to stabilize it with our Northern Arizona wind). These 1/2 concrete bolts are going to make that project a success! Everything looks like solid quality, and the nuts move freely. I am happy with this set.
