These are still really cute brads, but if you are putting them in journals, for example, they sit really high. I'd like to find some pearl tops that are flat.

The pearl brads are nicely made and the circumference of the top is smooth. You can't tell where the attaching mechanism on the back side is. Very nice compared to other less expensive products. They won't work for my project, though, as the diameter and height (surface from base to top of pearl) are too big. The top is 1/2" in diameter and 1/4" high. Was hoping to use on cards, but these wouldn't go through the postal equipment easily. Will give to a deserving craft-buddy.
