I had used it to stick pool noodles together. I know it’s not what its purpose is. Just make sure you apply firm pressure

Meh. I really wnted to like this as it was made in the USA, but for vinyl decals I had a few of my customers complain that the decals had parts that did not adhere to the transfer tape. I tried this on different brands of Vinyl and noticed that what they said was correct. Even on the larger vinyl decals that I had cut there was parts that would not stick to this transfer tape at all, so I wound up having to save some of my backing paper from my laminate that I use on stickers (since this does not come with any) and remove the backing from the vinyl decal and apply the waxed backing paper from the laminate before I send them out so that the decals would fully adhere to the transfer tape.As others have noted this is stretchy, so if you get super annoyed and try forcefully using a squeegie or something like it to get the transfer tape to adhere to vinyl decals, you will likely ruin your decal and have to cut a new one.Not having the backing paper really does not matter to me, but not having enough tack to be able to pull up the vinyl decal is really what matters to me more. If it was just slightly tackier than it is, then it might be better, but for now I am going to use a different brand

At first glance this product seemed like it was a great value when you have a large project to do on a tight budget. Once using this product, the first thing i noticed was the difficulty getting the transfer tape off the roll as there is no backing to the sticky side. This was not easy to use at all. Overall performance of this transfer tape was not what I expected. The adhesive was so sticky that it left a residue on the vinyl decals I cut. I ended up getting so frustrated, I went to our local craft store and purchsed a different brand. Bottom line, you get what you pay for!!

As transfer tape goes, this tape does the job as expected. The tackiness is sufficient to lift the vinyl and transfer to the surface and then release easily. The price is great compared to Cricut brand, but keep in mind two major differences and then decide how important those are: 1) the grid is much bigger - 1” instead of 1/2” ; 2) there is no backing on this tape so it unwinds off the roll with the sticky surface exposed. Other main brands have a paper backing that you peel off before using. If you are using the transfer tape right away, it’s not a problem, but you also can’t re-use the tape as easily. Overall, I am pleased with this transfer tape and would buy it again.

I love this transfer tape because it’s not like the other transfer tape that you use when you’re doing projects with your cricut machine I love it because when you’re peeling it off of the role it’s not sticking to everything making you redo a project with that being said this is actually some awesome transport tape that’s very very good and no hassle!! I’ll be buying more and I’ve referred this transfer tape to plenty of friends

This 12” x 100’ roll of clear transfer tape is an absolute must-have for any Cricut crafter! I’ve used it on both permanent and removable vinyl, and it picks up vinyl like a champ without any fuss. The best part? It releases from the craft surface just as easily, making my projects smooth and frustration-free.The alignment grid is a lifesaver—especially for those of us who need a little extra guidance when working on larger projects or precise decals. Made in America, it’s sturdy and reliable, and you can feel the quality in the material. The one tiny drawback: there’s no backing on the tape, so be careful when cutting it. It tends to fold onto itself, and no one wants a sticky mess to untangle! With a little extra care, though, this transfer tape works great for all your vinyl needs.Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Just be mindful of that fold-and-stick potential, and you’ll be golden.

Well I needed a whole roll of transfer tape for a lettering project on my husband's work truck. This was my first time using this brand. When it arrived I was disappointed to see some wrinkles in it. However I decided to use it anyway, and I'm glad I did. The wrinkles did not affect placement and most of them disappeared after rubbing. The ones that were visible did not affect the final product or cause bubbles or anything. This tape seems a bit less sticky than cricut, which was helpful if you didn't get it placed evenly, you could try again. After a quick rub, the letters transfered to the tape much easier than I am used to. This is a large roll and I actually like the large core as I can fit my whole arm in there, which made unrolling easier. This tape does not have a backing on it, like cricut, so it just sticks to itself on the roll. This also reduces a step, and makes placement easier. Just unroll amount needed on flat surface, place your vinyl upside down on top, this makes lining things up way easier! Then cut to size. This will be my go to brand from now on!
