These are fantastic reference cards that any fishermen should have in their tackle box. They are also something that any outdoorsman should have in their EDC, bug out bag, backpack, fanny pack or whatever kind of pack you take into the wilderness. All of these knots can be transferred from fishing to general purpose very easily. Reasonably priced and well made this is most definitely something you should have on you if you venture out into the wilderness.

This is a really neat portable reference product for fishermen. It comes with six nicely printed plastic cards, each about the same size and thickness as a credit card (one knot is explained on each side of the card). The steps are also illustrated with clear diagrams. These are strong plastic, and the printing is reasonably large for weak eyes. There is also a hole in the corner, and it comes complete with a small carabiner to both hold them together, and clip them to your gear or clothing. Be advised that the cards do not explain what situations to use each knot for, so you are on your own to figure that out—but there really would not be enough space for them to include anything but the basics of tying the knots anyway. A really cool product.

These are great to have on the boat when we're fishing. I know the palomar and my husband knows the improved clinch. Now we can learn not only each others knots, but we can also tie on leaders with ease. Laminated so they are waterproof, plus a carabiner so you can hook them somewhere handy. Very clear instructions, with pictures.

These cards are a must have for fishermen. They are small enough to attach do your fishing vest or put in your tackle box. They are lightweight and well made.

this has 6 plastic cards with 12 different knots with pretty clear illustrations on how to tie each. the cards should hold up to getting wet and are sturdy enough to hold up to use. They are really well made and good reference cards on the different knots. the only suggestions I would have would be maybe a simple explanation what they are best for such as braid to mono or bait hook . also I hope they come out with another set with other knots as well and a set for fish i.d. conclusion: great set of fishing knot cards good for new fishermen who want to learn how to tie knots and for old fishermen who have forgotten.

I like the compact size, durable plastic, and the simple illustrations. What I don't particularly care for is the cheap carabiner that holds the cards together. The shape doesn't allow the cards to be easily flipped and the biner's hinged will not allow the cards to pass over. I will be replacing with a split ring or a stainless steel wire keychain cable (photo).Great to keep in a tackle box and refer to when drawing a blank on how to tie a particular knot.Good value, I recommend.
