I didn't know what to expect ordering a tow chain from Amazon, but am glad I did. Not only is the quality great, but it features easy detaching hooks to suit your application. Great design and solid through and through...definitely built for heavy duty use.

Like the fact that the clevis hooks are held on with metal pins secured by cotter pins, vs. being permanently attached. The clevis hooks are easy removeable/re-attachable and lets you use the chain like a normal chain vs. a load binder type use.Chain and hooks seem well made. Not sure what the black coating on the chain is, but it seems tough enough. Using this chain to ensure a portable generator and the propane tank don't grow legs and walk away. I could've bought chain for this purpose at the big box store, but it would've cost more and I would've had to go get it and try and find an employee to use the chain cutter. I got yelled at last time for taking matters into my own hands. Easier just to buy it on Amazon.

Excellent epoxy painted 5/16” chains. Cut down and used as gutter chains. Much more affordable, look great, don’t blow around in the wind. Secured well, weight is not an issue.
