So this appeared like it would fit when I got it, i meausred before hand. I knew it was going to be a struggle to get it in the slot. There's no way to take the screen door handle area apart so you have to bend it in there. I put it off for a day I had the time. Today was that day. I finally got it in and it wouldn't move, at all. So I forced it back out and trimmed it down. I then forced it(a little easier now) back in, but it was still hard to slide. Took it back out, sanded the edges and put it back in. It finally worked, BUT when I went to put the protective end cap on, guess what? Shockingly it doesn't fit my door. The screws are 1/2" off, and the cut off the ends, so I cant even drill new holes. I had to put the old one back on, because luckily it wasn't broke and I kept it. However, because of the way the new door slide is molded, it doesn't slide into it, like it has to in order to seal to keep the wasps and yellow jackets out. So now it's too late to return, due to time up, and because I had to modify it, which means I have to order a different brand, and hope it works. Ugh. That's money and time wasted.
