My toddlers love these sea toys! They are very good quality and they love bringing them in the bath to swim with. I also love the educational book it comes with to explain each animal and their environment. This would make such a cute gift!

This set is great for imaginative play and sensory tables. I used these in our rice sensory box when it was ocean-themed. The sea creatures are brightly colored and adorable and hold up well to lots of handling. The included booklet is great, which is pretty rare. I laminated the pages and have them posted.

If you have toddlers that are into sea animals, this 12-pack will keep them entertained for days!This is a fantastic, affordable pack of quality toys. I visited the museum, and the gift shop charges 8 dollars for one animal! Of course, the museum has a bit more variety and sizes but the prices are still outrageous for the same China-made products.I love the variety, although the sizes are not realistic! The sea horse size approaches the sea lion and the octopus is larger than the shark!But the only thing that matters is that my kids enjoy them and love to do ocean battles.

The vendor describes these as "realistic". Some of the pieces (e.g. sea star, hermit crab) are fairly realistic. Others look like the designer focused entirely on one aspect of the the real animal and ignored the rest of the details (e.g. octopus). And then there are the generally odd creatures (e.g. demonic-looking dolphin). All of the figure are clearly identifiable sea creatures, so that is something. Five-year-olds enjoy playing with them, which is what is all about. I would prefer a better design for the $14.95, but this is not disappointing enough to return.

I ordered this 12 pack of ocean animal figures with booklet for my son who loves playing with plastic animals. I also think they are a great way to teach children about different animals and habitats in a "hands on" way which is why I love the booklet that comes with this set. The booklet has a page for each animal in the set and details the animal's real life length, weight, life span, diet and habitat. For us this set came with some unique figures we hadn't seen before (i.e. hermit crab, crab and lobster). The figures are solid and sturdy and a decent size for small hands. I really hate the dolphin and don't think it looks like a dolphin at all but, otherwise, the figures seem anatomically accurate. The paint job isn't the greatest (especially some of the eyes) but for a bulk pack of figures it isn't horrible. Overall, this is a decent set and I love the inclusion of an educational booklet.

These sea creatures have a high level of detail and lots to examine. From the open mouths of the sea lion, shark and dolphin, to the repeating texture on the starfish, these toys will have you turning them over in your hands to see the features.I'm especially impressed with the coloring. These aren't just a solid piece of one color plastic, these animals mostly have 3+ colors and are shaded and textured with care.The description says these are 'Soft' but personally I wouldn't describe them like that, they are plastic. By soft, you can bend some of them a bit. The manta ray is impressive and has thin wings and tail and comes in a protective bag. The hermit crab almost looks real due to it's realistic size. The starfish could pass as real also.This set has some quality pieces and is a good value for the price. If your kids or whoever this is for is interested in animals or likes figures, this will provide them with plenty of entertainment. The booklet teaches about the animal info and can be used both as a learning experience and for roleplay ideas. I do wish there was another shark or predator.
