Use this for paint storage.. easy to squeeze, and mix. Good value in comparison to others. Doesn’t leak. Just keep track of where you place the caps..

These are perfect for just about any kind of project with all things fluid. I use them for thinner acrylic painting projects. They clean up easily and I can re-use them over and over. Good price point.

The issue: they're nearly leak proof...but not quite.I think you'll have no issue with thicker liquids and might even be happy with thinner liquids. If you squeeze one when it's empty you'll see that you can slowly squeeze air out of the bottle even when it's tightly capped. On all of mine, the leak is through the threads at the base of the lid; I can't perceive any leaking around the red caps.I'm using them for shellac application and liquid shellac is just dry shellac that's been dissolved in strong alcohol. You can mix it to different strengths (called the cut) and that will affect the thickness of the liquid. With a light (thin) cut I'm seeing very slight leakage, easily wiped away with the cloth I'm using for application, but it will end up building up on the outside on the top and shoulder of the bottle. I also worry that it will build up and dry in the threads, making the bottle impossible to open without soaking in alcohol. Oh well, I guess that means it's good that they're cheap and I bought the 12-pack.Otherwise, they're a good size and flexible without being flimsy and the red tips snap on and seem to seal tightly. The graduations on the sides of the bottles are a bit off (useless, really, for anything other than an aid to eyeball measuring) but I don't imagine anyone will use them for delicate measurements so no worries there.
