I hooked these up, but they didn't really spray more than a trickle. It certainly wouldn't mist. They don't come with any instructions or paperwork of any kind, so I couldn't troubleshoot any problems. They did fit the 1/2 inch PVC pipe.

first set of nozzles I ordered worked great for my project mister, but the system wasn't large enough for my needs. This next set of 30 leaks bad. Not sure what the difference is since my house pressure is only 75psi. May have to try a pressure reducer to get it down to 40+ psi or some sort of glue to get them to seal. Making any chance of replacing the heads in the future impossible. BummerAdded plumbers thread paste to the nozzles and a pressure reducer. The leaks have all but stopped now. Temp on the units air flow out of the top dropped from 168 Degrees to 95 with the ambient air temp reading 90 in the shade. My AC is in the sun almost all day so this already helps. Just be sure not to clog the nozzles with the paste or your'll have to take them off and clean them.

I am updating my review based on my customer service experience. Vendor was quick to reach out and offer/provide a full refund as well as offer tips to ensure system was set up properly (e.g., need to ensure 40psi water supply, flushing the nozzles prior to gluing, etc. - information that would be useful to include in their product description/instructions). I'm still disappointed in the product performance but the vendor stepped up to correct the sales experience.Don’ waste your money. I bought these wanting to make a PVC misting tent for the 4th of July. When they arrived I cut and glued all the pieces and after allowing the glue to cure hooked it up to the hose for a trial run. Not a single nozzle worked properly. All had a mixture of misting (desired) and 2, 3 and sometimes 4 solid water streams shooting out. Unless you are looking to make a sprinkler instead of a mister - LOOK ELSEWHERE.....

Absolute junk. After reading most reviews I thought a perfect solution for an outdoor misting system for the summer heat. Install was fairly easy, however its pretty much a one shot to get it right ordeal unless buying more couplings. Followed the instruction to blow out any debris in the line and reinstalled the nozzeles. Turned on water and there was more water in streams than mist. Few adjusted to a mist. Would have been better off dowsing myself with a water hose. Today I will rip it all down and trash it. $40 bucks in nozzles, pvc and fittings down the drain. Dont waste your money like I did. These things are garbage.

Having purchased several of the pre-fab tubing-nozzle mister kits, these are the ideal solution. Since they are united with a standard 1/2" PVC Sprinkler Coupler, you can buy the 10 or 20-foot 1/2" PVC Sprinkler Pipes and design the perfect system for your patio or enclosure, whether it is covered or not. We have both. One is a large Patio with the Roof as an overhang, and another is an area in the center of the patio with a canopy and frame. Since these fittings are universal, you can space them out at the ideal distance for your scenario.. I would recommend making a prototype by using a GHT (Garden Hose Thread) to 1/2" PVC Adapter, a length of tubing, the nozzle mister connector and a nipple and cap. Don't cement these together, just twist them tight and use them to see how far each nozzle sprays based on your individual water pressure. That way you know, roughly, how far apart to put each nozzle. I use standard pipe hanger clamps (the little galvanized, curved straps with a screw hole on the flat part) to affix my system up under the eaves, just inside the roofline so the mist can dissipate before hitting the ground and the system itself stays healthy, out of the sun, so it will last forever (or at least a really long time). It's amazing how much cooler it is sitting in our lounge chairs with the system turned-on. A perfect solution to my frustration with the pre-built kits. Thanks.

Easy to install, when glueing pvc pipes into couplers be sure not to cover the hole where the mister goes in. I learned that when this happen on two pipes, had to drill it out. After that, they work great.
