The RainBro PSU051V 1/2 horsepower thermoplastic submersible sump pump features a maximum pumping capacity of 3400 GPH to lift water to 31 ft. height. It comes with the vertical float switch for automatic operation. It can be used as a typical sump pump and install in a sump or wet location where drainage collects, and also as a portable utility pump to move water from place to place frequently.

It pumps really well. My last pump lasted 10 years. It was plumbed to a 1 inch pvs line. This one I just used a large diameter garden hose piece and put it into the 1 inch pvc line and it works just as well. Used it 4 times and I would recommend it. Nice pump, hope it last as long as my last one. I use it in a 2×3 concrete pit to pump water out of my back yard when it rains.

This pump is quiet and pumps a lot of water - BUT - the float will stick in the "ON" position and the motor was just running and running without water. I lightly pushed down on the float and it shut off.It stuck on my 3 times and I had to manually shut it off by lightly pushing down on the floatPerhaps a heavier weight would hold it down, but I'm returning this sump pump in favor of the USA manufactured ones for another $50.00 extra.
