I needed to open a hydraulic cylinder end from 25 mm to 1 inch and this did the trick. The sharpening could be a little better and the 3 flats were crude, but it worked.

This came in a plastic slide together container. The size and brand is engraved on the shank, and that's a nice touch. It's sharp to the touch, and performs well as a reamer. For example, when drilling holes through sheet metal to install casters, there's usually burrs on both sides. By lightly drilling both sides, this clears them out well. It can also gradually increase the size of a hole if necessary. For example, sometimes you think you have a 1/4" bit to drill for a bolt, but then the bolt doesn't quite fit well for some reason. A quick jab with this cures the problem. Reamers are indispensable to me, and this is a good one.

Seems to be a quality cutter so far, hasn't broken yet in soft steel however I've used similar reamers in the past that if torqued with a powerful drill and put in a bind these can be a 'knuckle buster' and will break with sufficient force....be careful

This is a very precision machined, very well finished hardened ream. Is extremely durable and very sharp, and there's not much else to say about it. Good price, good product would recommend. 4 Stars.

Recently, I had to enlarge a hole to accept a pin. I don't usually work with metal, and I didn't have a bit like this one. I got the job done, but it took a long time, and the results were amateurish. Good enough for me, but I wouldn't want to show it to anyone.I got this reamer a few days ago. It took just a few seconds to clean up the hole. I could have saved a lot of time if I had used this to begin with.

Man this reamer can ream a hole if I’ve ever done it! I waited to review until I gave it a good test, reamed 50 holes and still going strong! I’d get it if I were you
