This a metal box that can hold money, and has a locking mechanism. It is not theft proof, it is not fire proof, it is not water proof. Personally, I gave this to my kiddo because it's neat. Just keep your expectations appropriate.

Not too impressed with the overall quality tbh. The welding on the metal isn't great all around the lid edge and the joints on the top handle are really stiff. Moreover, the keys had terrible difficulty fitting into the lock initially until I worked them in for a solid minute. It seems that the teeth would stick, and the hole for the key isn't even perfectly vertical. The good news is that the locking arm is pretty large so it holds well, although not without a noticeable amount of play in the lid. Malleability is also on the average side so you can push the walls in a bit with your hands, and a crowbar could probably make short work of it without much effort.As for the interior, the plastic tray is incredibly cheap and had a pretty strong smell to it out of the box. The plastic itself is decently thick and I like how 5 of the 6 compartments have sloped sides to make retrieving coins a whole lot easier; but the depth of tray takes up a good 5/8 of the entire internal volume, so there really isn't that much room for anything underneath that isn't perfectly flat. Ended up just taking it out and lining the interior with some felt to use as a small valuables box. Not bad, but certainly something you could probably find at your local dollar store. Definitely won't protect from fire or flooding because there's no waterproof seal, but at least the metal isn't super thin that it won't withstand a fall. Three stars overall.

I am excited to use this security box to keep government documents and keepsakes safe.The product comes with a set of keys to lock up, it doesn’t seem to be the most secure but will do the job to dissuade anyone from getting inside.The box would work well for a concession stand to keep cash on hand.

I had a cash box, but lost the key, then misplaced the box, so this is right on time. Not to large, so you can even transport it to different places in a small bad, so as not to draw attention to yourself. Has 6 small compartments for change.

It’s smaller than I thought it would be, cash goes under the tray and coins in the tray. The compartments for coins are somewhat small so don’t expect it to hold a lot of coins. Does come with 2 keys.

This is a barely adequate cash box. The small size is appealing for its portability and because it can fit into small desk drawers. It's nice that it comes with two keys, and the lock worked fine, with no jiggling required. The metal seems sturdy enough, though it likely wouldn't keep a determined thief out. It's not fireproof or waterproof, and there's actually a bit of gapping when the lid is closed. There's no way to close the lid except when it's locked, and the lock oddly fits through a slot in the (cheap) change tray. When closed, probably because of the gapping, the lid bangs around and does not seem all that secure. The lack of quality is frustrating, and I definitely won't keep actual cash in the box because of it; instead, I'm probably going to discard the change tray and use the box to store medicine that I don't really want out in the open but that doesn't meet the criteria of "valuables." I know this is inexpensive, but even so, I do think that there are better quality cash boxes that are similarly priced. I'd pass on this and choose another option if you want something secure.

I got this to better mange change for our garage sale. Our daughter also participates in the city Lemonade stand day and it's an essential to be able to have some change on hand, and safely.It's decently strong, and is lockable. It will definitely keep your change organized with the separate sections for different coins. Best to put the bills below so they're not as likely to blow away in a gust.This could also be used as storage for some free cash on hand just in case of power failures. Possible a piggy bank or donation box.I'm sure if somebody grabbed it and bolted they could break it open for the cash, but if you're in an area like that, it's probably not a good idea to have anything out of your house to begin with.I find this is decent for it's purpose.

Sturdy, and comes with two keys! It’s on the smaller side, but works great for my needs. As long as you’re not stashing away hundreds of thousands, this will work great for you.

Nice little cash box, though we are misled in some of the pictures where it shows a compartment for bills.There is no compartment for bills in the plastic tray.The lock works, seems a sturdy as they little cash box and it does the job in general
