I’ve tried a lot of logs for my tent stove. Most get way too hot and turn the stove red hot. To prevent this on other logs I have to turn down the damper airflow by closing it until the desired temp is dialed down. If I burn logs collected from our woods, the natural wood doesn’t need as much regulation to maintain a safe fire and a warm tent. However, the soot builds up in the stovepipe, restricting proper airflow. Everyday I must perform the chore or clearing the soot from the pipe if I use the wood from the forest or fallen trees. With some purchased logs, this problem still exists, but not as bad, but I still wrestle with maintains good temp for efficient combustion.I am hoping these pressed dust logs will solve most of my issues. Locally, I’m able to find sawdust made bricks. Two of these in the stove burn cleanly and for 4 hours plus with proper damper control. They’re just $3.99 for 6. It will be interesting to see how these will work.

They arrived broken in 2 to 4 pieces. They are extremely hard to ignite

They arrived very broken ad there was a lot of sawdust in the packaging so however it is being packages in just plastic is not enough to protect the product. I have purchased more so we will see how the next shipment is.

Was able to use these as I had run out of my EZFirelogs worked well , cut in to wafers it make kindling and added 1/2 a log and had a nice flame and heat.

Each of the 6 logs were snapped, some were in 4 pieces. They smaller pieces fell through the grate. I'll never get them again!
