I used this 3/8" carbide ball nose end mill on hardened steel, and it performed really well. The 2-flute design provided smooth cuts with good chip evacuation, and the tungsten carbide construction held up under high-speed machining without excessive wear. It also worked well on stainless steel and copper, producing clean finishes with minimal chatter. The 3/8" shank fit securely in my CNC setup, and it handled tough materials with precision. If you need a durable ball nose end mill for metalworking, this one is a solid choice.

I gave this a good inspection before use, the cutting edges were sharp and smooth, the diameter was correct. There were no defects seen.The size and specifications are laser etched into the shank, They are clear and easy to read.I gave this a test by milling a depression and slot into a piece of cold rolled steel to make a handle.This cut the steel very well, the edges on the slot were clean with no burrs and the relieved area was smooth with a nice clean concave edge.After use the end mill was still sharp with no signs of wear, no chips were seen in the cutting edges.This cleared the chips well, but on the cold rolled steel, it just makes a bazillion razor sharp little slivers.

This CNC end mill worked great in my 100W spindle benchtop mill on aluminum. It produced clean, precise cuts without chatter, even at lower power settings. I can’t speak to how it performs under high loads, but for my setup, it handled aluminum well and maintained accuracy throughout the job.The sharp edges and sturdy construction make it a reliable option for light-duty milling, and the protective plastic case helps keep it in top condition. A solid choice for small CNC mills!

Close inspection showed good grind profiles, a smoothly rounded end and no chips anywhere on the tool.I ran some test cuts in 6061 aluminum on my Taig mill and the results were clean. This is a quality cutter for soft metal use at moderate speeds. I don't typically use uncoated tooling for harder steels.If you need an uncoated ball nose cutter for aluminum, try this one. You will not be disappointed.

I have a small desktop cnc mill. I cant say offhand which seig model (like m3 or c3 or something like that) but this bit works great. Nice clean cuts. No chatter when i watch my feeds and speeds.
