It is winter in the USA, power outages with weather, check the local news channels with a battery operated TV. Do some web searches for the 5-10 best portable TVs and the name Rywob shows up a lot. After a YouTube review (under another name) I went with this one.This is an awesome TV with the software providing all the important features of my Samsung TVs at home and portable features they don't have as in video codec support for files from a portable drive or SD card. I couldn't find a go back to the previous channel button but it scans for TV and FM stations then provides a favorites list for each that can be edited on the fly. The antenna is powered by 5v from the TV and does better than the large square passive one stuck to a window going to my bedroom TV. Still I ordered a chrome telescoping antenna easier to deal when outside.Aesthetics I love that it is all monitor and bezel and no controls on the front panel as everything is on the sides. Controls on the front seem cheap to me. Audio has good volume with no significant bass and with all rear firing speakers put a hard surface behind them then hear the quality double. Video at 1080P HD is sharp, crisp with excellent color when looking directly at the screen. Left or right quality diminishes past 15 degrees with less light, too high washed out bright, too low very dark. This is typical of small TVs as they are not using QLED technology per the cost if they added it.The side controls will do most everything that the remote does but have to go to some menus versus a quick button on the remote. Transmit frequencies are shared. I have a large digital clock in front of my bedroom TV with a remote to change LED colors, set time, etc. Type in a direct digital channel for the TV on the remote and my clock goes to reset the time. Check your devices.Options I purchased the latest 1080P HD Firestick (as this TV is not 4K) then a cable which connects the Firestick to the TV USB port which supplies the needed power. It works with excellent quality providing I have a fast WIFI connection I can connect to.Finding a case for it was a pain but I found this one for the TV and a telescoping antenna. Overall this TV is awesome where I'm sitting on a bed watching a Netflix movie on my Samsung TV with my two small dogs while there is a snow blizzard outside. This portable TV is on the bed giving me local news updates on the weather. Add in a large battery capacity to last for hours.
