Used this little pump on Saturday to empty our gold fish pond in the yard. For something so small it really pumped a vigorous stream. The water was very dirty but nothing slowed it down. Pond holds 135 gallons of water and it didn't take long to pump it out. Very pleased.

I am an appliance technician and it works well for getting most of the water out of a washing machine that will not drain. I used a shop vac for the last bit of water but this pump saves me a lot of time.

I ordered this to pump out a 275 gallon water tank. It was delivered in 2 days and 30 minutes later we were pumping water. It pumped the tank dry in about and hour. Best $40 I have ever spent! Easy to use. Made a project we were dreading fast and easy. Highly recommend!

I purchased this pump to drain rainwater from a pool cover. I opened the box and was delighted that it came with a discharge hose and extra parts, which was great. I had high expectations, considering it's advertised as having a 44 foot max-head (lifting capability). The pump I got couldn't lift rainwater 5 feet.The motor smoked and then died, without one drop of water being pumped. According to other reviews, I suspect about 10% of these pumps are duds, and I could have gotten one of those duds. The lesson to be learned is if you purchase this pump, you have roughly a 10% chance of getting a dud. You can take your chances, or find something else. I'm returning this pump and going with the second option.

I used this with a 30 minute timer. Then the second time I used it, the timer did not cut the power and the rubber impeller self destructed. I installed the extra one that was supplied. Now I have to stay next to it when it is on. Otherwise, it pumps ok. Not expensive so you get what you pay for. For what it costs, it is ok.

It feels cheapply made and not very long lasting. I used it all winter long to drain the pool cover of water, and lately I have been using it to empty the trenches for drainage that I can never seem to finish digging because of the wet weather. I dropped it in the trenches full of water, or the pool, just took the brushes out and blew some compressed air in it and back to work it went. It's not very stable either so you have to constantly monitor it. Also, the handle keeps falling quite a lot.
