This is a great pump to boost water pressure as needed. If you are using a lot of water or a demanding tool such as a pressure washer further from your house and struggling with low pressure, this is exactly what you need. It's a compactly sized pump, and easy to set up. It works so quietly I was dubious it was even working at first. But it is, and definitely makes a difference. It will make watering the garden in the back so much faster this year, and lets you safely use something like a pressure washer quite far away without running into low pressure, which is hard on the motor. This pump motor does get hot since this is a demanding job, it's supposed to turn itself off, but we ended up turning if off when it got too hot to touch, that's something to keep an eye on for longevity. But function wise, this seems like a solid, reliable pump. It's too soon to comment about longevity, but it seems well made.

- Documentation (5/5): Good, detailed manual that was mostly easy to understand. Product matched seller’s Amazon description exactly.- Functionality (5/5): I used this to provide a portable water source for my cargo-conversion camper trailer when boondocking away from a traditional city water hookup. I did lose prime after the first few hours when siphoning water from portable 5-gallon supply jugs, and the pump ran dry for at least several hours before I caught it. To my surprise, the pump did not overheat and appears to have suffered no damage from running dry for that long. I re-primed the pump manually (dis-/re-connecting everything then raising the water source temporarily), and also unscrewed the strainer, where I found and removed a couple small pieces of black rubber debris that I suspect are from the manufacturing process (I removed the pump diaphragm cover and found no pieces/damaged pieces from the rubber diaphragm itself). That said, I’m pretty sure the loss of suction was due to my looping the siphon hose too far vertically (you can see that in one picture) and had nothing to do with the pump itself. After removing the debris, re-priming, and straightening the hose, the pump has performed flawlessly. I love the flow rate—it’s close to what I get from a 40 psi city water hookup. I do not recommend using the included plumber’s tape on the provided soft plastic threaded connections—that plastic is meant to deform slightly as fittings are threaded on, eliminating the need for tape.- Quality (4/5): Materials seem to be good, but note the potential manufacturing debris aspect I noted in the preceding section. Check and clean your strainer after the first few minutes of use.- Value (4/5): Priced at-to-slightly below the average price for similar products on the market.BOTTOM LINE (18/20): Very good product, buy it.

This comes with every adapter you are likely to need to mate to your system. Although this is a demand pump (only turns on when you open a faucet) I decided to stress test it. The water we use for our lawn only comes out at around 25 pounds, not enough to drive a leaker hose properly to water the lawn. I put this in line with the supply and ran it for 2 hours straight. The leaker hose worked perfectly. The pump was so quiet I had to put my hand on it to make sure it was running. 2 hours later I couldn't put my hand on it it was so hot from running that long flat out. I turned it off, let it cool down then put a shut off on the output. Turned it back on and it started and stopped perfectly when I opened and closed the shut off valve. Again, no noise. Perfect for your boat or RV water system when you are connected to 110. Stating the obvious it would be a nice pump for any situation where you needed a demand pump and have 110V a/c. Just don't run it constantly, it's not made for that. Oh it will pull water up, I believe it's got a 3 foot head, but I didn't really test that.

Pretty standard design sold under a variety of brand names, this YEYETUO model doesn't seem to have any identification on the unit itself except for a model number, and the manual covers different versions. But it comes well packed with a generous assortment of adapters including brass, as well as an inlet strainer. I used it for a rain collection system that collects water off the roof, so a lot of bugs and dirt end up in the collection tanks. I se a standard household style filter housing to pre-filter the water, so I didn't need the strainer. But the brass fittings came in handy. The listing describes the pump as low noise, I don't feel that's quite accurate, but it runs with no more noise than any other similar diaphragm pump. There's an adjustment on the pressure switch to change the cut-in and cut-out pressures, but I saw no reason to change the factory settings. I would have preferred a metal mounting bracket, but the plastic one gets the job done. This has been used for the last two months of the growing season here and it was used quite a bit to feed irrigation sprinkler systems, so far it's worked quite well and doesn't suffer from being run dry for several hours at a time. A very reasonable price makes this a sold value on a strong diaphragm type demand pump.

This thing is pretty impressive. I got it for my 5th wheel camper to have on hand for those situations where the city water pressure is lower than what we want... sometimes certain camp grounds have lower than normal water pressure, so you need something that will boost the pressure... well, this does the trick and then some! At 55 PSI, it can pull something way below what we want and push it right to the perfect point. It set up very easily and you can boost the pressure just right. It's also not incredibly loud either, which is a great plus. We even had some people asking us questions about it and got a feeling some of them will be looking into the same thing!
