I think just about every shop could use a set of picks and rivet removers like this one. I know my shop sure can. Most of these are much larger than I thought when I ordered this set, but there are some smaller picks also included that are intended for pulling o rings etc. There is a really handy pick up tool that extends to 27 inches according to the advertisement. I didn't measure it but I would have guessed it was longer. On the end of the pick up tool there is a magnet that is strong enough that I picked up an empty pint canning jar by its lid. there is a light on the end that is activated by simply screwing in the end cap. All in all, this is a very nice and well made set that I will use a lot.

I have a couple of other pick sets but they are smaller and I have had the handles pull off when putting a lot of pressure on them trying to break loose larger hoses that are stuck. I like the fact this set includes both large and small sizes. I also like the fact they come in a case so I can easily carry the whole set rather than carrying individually to work on something as I invariably have to go back and get a different one. Not sure why the bag is labeled "Rivet Buckle Removal Tool Set" as it could be misleading but no big deal. The larger set seems pretty heavy duty and will come in handy working on large stuff. The scraper tool is handy for removing gasket material and old adhesive but I did sharpen mine more to make the job faster. While I have other extendable magnets, having the light feature on this one will help when retrieving dropped bolts in the engine bay or other places that are dark just not sure of the life cycle on it. I would note the handle on the plastic rivet removal tool is cheaper plastic but will still be handy for removing those pesky plastic rivets compared to trying to use a screwdriver. All in all a good set, especially at this price point.

I love the quality of these pics! I've been using a cheap set of pics for a while now, and they have done well for me. But then I saw this set and thought I would give them a try, and I was very impressed. They have a good feel in the hand when using them, and the smaller pics are good and strong. I haven't had a need to use the larger pics, but they should work well for me when I do.If you're like me, and don't require to have the most expensive, top of the line tools, I recommend you check this set out.
