[ Solid tire installation steps ]
Step 1
Soften The Tires, Before installation, you need to put the full honeycomb tire in boiling water for 20 minutes to soften it. Or put it in the microwave for 3 minutes to heat it, but in 3 times of 1 minutes of duration.
Step 2
Cover the inside of the tire with soapy water or Vaseline (please avoid using the gasoline or lubricating oil, otherwise the tire will be damaged).
Step 3
Place either side of the hub on the tire and step on this side (It is recommended to place another tire under this tire).
Step 4
Use the professional tire levers (or work with screwdriver)to make the hub enter the tire.

The description states it will work with the Hiboy S2 pro. This is WRONG!The tyre has an internal width of 45mm. The hiboy wheel and tyre that comes with the scooter has an internal diameter of 35mm.This is not known until you cut the original tyre off the wheel. We spent several hours trying to fit this tyre, which presents the problem as the bead popping out the other side. No amount of YouTubing will tell you this.If this is the tyre for you, boil it for 15 minutes, grease the wheel with dish soap, and don’t start the job without proper tyre irons/spoons.Many installation videos show that you use a screwdriver to adjust the tyre once it is on, but this model has no eyelets. It’s solid.I have no option to return and the description is wrong hence the low rating.

All you got to do is boil her for an hour, throw her on a tire press and presto, tubeless scooter tire acquired.

it’s impossible to put these tires on the rims was looking for products to see what can help put it on. It’s hard to put on. It’s better to just buy a new scooter.

I reached out to Hiboy when my black tire blew out. They said they can’t help because the Max3 is phased out. They said there was nothing I could do. I came to Amazon and ordered a tire that didn’t fit. Then I found these. They work great! Went on easy!! And work well for my scooter. I’m excited to put miles on it. Worth the money since you get two for the price of another brand. They are well shaped and I will be testing the durability since it is my commute vehicle. They have done well one the few rides I’ve taken them on.

The microwave trick works. Please know that once you get the bottom side of the tire over the rim, it will appear that the tire is too wide. Let it cool for about 30 minutes and then you can work the top side of the tire into the rim. I was convinced that the tire was too big so be patient and let it cool.

So far its lasted just under 1k miles, and seems to be showing minimal wear. I heard a weird noise coming from it and I pulled out a 2 inch nail. I'm really glad I got these.Putting it on was absurdly hard. We had 2 people and could have used a 3rd. This is with 16 inch extremely heavy duty steel tire irons. Don't worry about boiling your tires to heat them up. I did it and it worked great. Since tires are such a good insulator, you wont even burn your hands.Ever since then its been working perfectly. My speed dropped from 19mph to 18 mph. My battery life dropped from 20 miles to about 14. That's with the front tire still pneumatic. Its a sacrifice, but at least I don't get flats any more.

The tire works and fits very well on my GoTrax G5. When shopping for a tire replacement I could not find any tire seller specifically mentioning that their tire fits the Gotrax G5. That is why I'm writing this review. I chose this tire because the description said that the tire fit the GoTrax G6, which I thought would be the closest to my G5 as both models just came out this year (2023). The tire looks great, fits very well. It is on my rear drive wheel (motor). I submerged the tire in boiling water for 20 minutes. It took another 20 minutes to put on with three people prying with massive screwdrivers. The ride is stiffer than an air-filled tire but that is a trade off for not worrying about flats anymore. I plan to buy the same tire for the front wheel.

Perfect!!! I bought my escooter and got flat tire after 9km , the process of sw8tching tires, welll i went to a store cause it seems to be a painful process otherwise. Yes it took time amd cost me extra money, but now it all runs perfectly and will not have to worry about tire issues anymore. The grip is great and comfort or road roughness is no worse than with the original tire. Once you set them up, it is PERFECT

The tire will fit the Segway Ninebot Max G30 but the installation is very difficult for one person to handle even though videos show it being done. I used the boiled hot water method per the instructions and I still needed two other people to help. I think it can be done with just two people, but I needed another set of hands. For installation, remember this is a solid tire and it’s not as pliable as a regular tire so get yourself at least 10-12 inch tire spoons or flat head screwdrivers for the torque to get the tire on to the rim..2 days after installation- Just like other reviews say.. you may find your ride more jarring with each crack you hit in the road. I expected it.
