Another review of this product gave it only one star and says it's fragile. Yes, that's true, but given the inside and outside threads are virtually touching each other, fragility is inevitable. The key is knowing how to install these without fracturing. I suggest FIRST running a M8x1.25 tap through the mating part so there is minimal friction on the adapter when screwing it in. If you want (or need) it to be firmly attached, then use some locktite or epoxy during installation. Then wait for the epoxy to harden and run a M6x1 tap through the installed adapter to clean out the threads, before inserting the 6mm screw. Otherwise you'll glue it together also, and never get it apart again. This product deserves 5 stars.

These are so brittle they snap when you put the smallest amount of twisting force on them. I tried 4 that cracked as soon as I tried to twist them into the hole. Very little resistance was applied and they broke in the same place each time.
