Works well on high nickel/chrome steel I am making a bit of an experimental, high temp forging punch out of. Good finish and excellent tool wear without any coolant on a lathe. No chip welding or chipping of the cutting edge.

I got these for turning machineable high-lead SAE 12L14 steel alloy. The price is excellent and they cut my steel cleanly, nice finish. They may not hold up over the long haul, but at this price, I don't mind. Nice cutters. Highly recommended.

A nice sharp cutting edge makes for easy cutting (at least with the materials that I usually work with -- steel, brass, aluminum.) A good finish. (I prefer the finish of the TCMT16T308 over the finish of the TCMT16T304). They seem to wear well (which for me means that I will not need to buy more inserts for the foreseeable future (I'm not a production shop so don't go through inserts at a high rate.)

These LINZUAN TCMT32.52 TCMT16T308 Hard Alloy Carbide Inserts left a excellent finish on a hard high-strength steel part. The mirror like finish is a lot better that that left by my previous brand of TCMT inserts. These also cut faster with less resistance. I used 450 rpm and a slow feed rate.

I do a fair amount Of turning aluminum and steel parts these inserts are the best bank for the “Buck” I have found.

These seem to be fine, sharp and packaged correctly (which is always a plus). I'm a little skeptical based on the low price, we'll see how long they last. If they hold up and cut anything like my name brand inserts I'm changing the review to 5 stars.
