I'm actually just cutting these in half to use and connectors for some LEDs on plane. This give me a disconnect for the wings so I can store the plane more easily. These seem to be perfectly fine JST connectors.

Hobbyist that are serious about the RC - especially smaller scale RC cars like the Axial SCX24 - should have male to female extensions JST extension plugs in their toolbox. This 10 piece set shipped quickly and they are of high quality. I needed to extend both the motor and battery leads for a custom SCX24 project and these did the trick as expected. I now have spares in my toolbox for future projects.
