Bought these for my one dog to use as I attached it to a pole and string, He loves bells as a toy to chase and chew on. I have three Dachshunds currently and it takes them so much longer to crush them by chewing on it if they can catch it.Durability: These have been more Durable and Well Built as they last longer than other sellers had thinner less durable bells.Materials: I believe these are made of Aluminum on the outside with Iron based metal rod cut into 1.5 mm pieces as the inner bell ringer piece was magnetic when I tested it with a magnet.Bell sound: Nice sound, not quite as Tinny and high pitched as other or smaller bells. This might be do to the slightly thicker outside and that it is not a cut in the more standard four petal leaf shape (or X shape cut). I think it is still a pleasant sound almost in the mid-range tone with slight reverb to it.Price: For my use the price is good as they last longer for durability sake for my dogs, but Okay priced when no other options for the design and thickness or able to be found in the 1/2 inch size range. you could find other sellers that sell you 50 or 100 bells for cheap prices, but keep in mind you are paying for what you get in that case.
