These do work but they won’t last long if you have upgraded coils have an mhd tune with the coils selected. The tube increases the voltage on the msd80 dme and blows the midgets first try. I had to upgrade to an msd81 dme which cost about 500$ but it’s worth it. These mosfets got me by for a little while.

These fixed the DME on my 08’ 335i. Definitely take your time when working on any ECU, but this definitely saved me from sending it out to get rebuilt. Watch some videos on how to replace them, and you’ll save yourself a lot of money!

Worked great to repair my 2007 BMW 335i DME MSD80, came packaged in antistatic set of 10, great value for money and they are rated for 300V instead of the 250V that came in the car. Just make sure you replace all 6 instead of only the defective one.

Unfortunately, my DME's 30BB error did not go away even after replacing the mosfets. The mosfets seemed ok to begin with and I did not detect any S/D shorts. I ended up upgrading to a MSD81. Other things that can go wrong with an MSD80 is the controller IC for the injectors which is not so easy to replace. I suspect this was the case with my MSD80. Big thumbs down to BMW for such a crappy product.

Arrived quickly. We used them to repair MSD80. Appears to have worked. Other issues with car in addition to this one before it is fully fixed. If they fail again will update review.
