Manual: 1, Always wear ear, eye, face protection and protective safety gloves. 2, Generally, for rough work, move the burrs across the workpiece counter-rotationally. 3, Pass the tool over the workpiece in the direction of rotation to achieve fine finishes. 4, Min Clamping depth is 2/3 of the shank, if you have to clamp less, pls low speed. 5, If rough running, strong vibrations and increased flying sparks, pls use a new one. 6, Do not apply too much pressure, Let the speed do the work. Smaller burrs require faster speeds. 7, Soft materials, such as aluminum, use a grinding oil to reduce debris clogging. Grind glass, use water as lubricant. 8, Elongate holes, grip tool firmly with two hands and use a swinging motion, which prevents chatter, result in a safer cut. 9, Avoid impact loads, otherwise parts teeth will break off, shank will bend. Do not sink the burr for more than 1/3 of its periphery. 10, Recommendation for drives: shank 1/8" (75 to 300W), shank 1/4" (from 300W), for coarse cuts, 500W+ advantageous.

I bought these grinding bits for my battery powered die grinder. I needed something beefier then a dremel style tool. So far these have performed great! No complaints. I haven't seen any wear on the head but I also haven't tried them on steel or anything like that. They come with a wood storage block if you want to keep them on your workbench. Not bad for the cost.

Solidly made and work well! I hope they last! MUCH easier trying to make regular drill bits do work they were really not designed to handle. What more can I say? Highly recommended!

the product pictures make it look like these will work with a normal size rotary tool, like a Dremel. They do not. I have to use these in my power drill because the shank is so big. The bits are okay. Make sure you use them rotating in the correct direction or they do nothing. These are for fine grinding. Be patient as they only grind a little at a time.

Used on Koa wood dish for detail carving areas. At 1,000rpm left black marks. Increased speed to 2,500rpm and instant burn marks. Description claims product can be used on hardwood. 100% dissatisfied. Return period passed before I had a chance to use it, otherwise this product would have been returned.
