While the product description says "Flat Point" it's plain to see from the photos that these are cup-point screws. The ones I got were all 1/4-20 (unlike the obviously 6mm ones that were apparently shipped in error but reviewed by another buyer as loose 1/4-20's), the hexes were well formed and fit the supplied allen key just fine, and while the threads might not have been a machinist's fit they were well within spec and locked my components in place like they were supposed to. No complaints, they're reasonably priced, adequately produced, perform their intended function, and delivered in a day. What's not to like?

Garbage. Ad says "Flat Point Set Screw End". You receive a 'Cup Point' end.Cheap. The set screw wobbles grossly inside female thread - i.e. extreme sloppy fit. Diameter doesn't measure anywhere near true ¼-20. (also not true ⅜" long either).What did they save making these this poorly? And how much in shipping costs both ways (returning on principal and for wasting my time) does this create. Why mislead about the 'Flat End' and send a 'Cup Point' instead? I mean we are talking pennies to make and 40x that cost in hassle, shipping and wasted time. Why can't amazon clean house.

When you say the company name it sounds like buy-wrong.The screws came double bagged. They look and feel well machined. I used them for a tap and die that I did.I probably would of gave them a five star rating but.... they sent the wrong size allen key with the set of screws.I would prefer no alllen than an incorrect one.I'd recommend the screws despite the wrench and the company name.

Used this to replace a stolen thumbscrew from my flagpole holder. Worked great and fit flush when installed. Cheap anti-theft device. (unless your thief brings a Allen wrench)
