I got these for use that wasn't intended by seller but its being used to repair some stools and a chicken brooder. They are making things much more stable for my use. they are heavy duty and worked out great for what I needed them for

Galvanized fence hardware looks kinda clunky, but the sturdy black finish on these brackets looks classy. Since the brackets come in two pieces, they can adjust to fit lumber of any thickness, although two-inch lumber is just a little bit thin for perfect fit if using two brackets - but I think it should work ok. A two-by-four or two-by-six will work fine, but so with a four-by-four or even a four-by-six. I received ten pairs of brackets, plus enough screws for all of them.If you're using one-by-four lumber, use single brackets and double the number of boards you can support. These brackets are very versatile, and I like that. They're designed for fences, but I can think of thousands of uses.
