JIC 37° Flare Female Hose Fitting
Compatible with adjustable crimpers
Originally named for the now-defunct Joint Industrial Commission (JIC), this connection is very common in fluid power systems. Both the male and female halves of this connection have 37° seats. The seal takes place by establishing a line of contact between the male flare and the female cone seat. The threads hold the connection mechanically.

Measuring Your Fittings
Female JIC End - Inner Dimeter
To ensure the correct identification for the female JIC end, ensure that the female thread measurements are for the inner diameter (I.D.) of the fitting.
Male JIC End - Outer Diameter
For the male JIC end, ensure thread measurements pertain to the outer diameter (O.D.) of the fitting.
Hose - Inner Dimeter
Hydraulic hose measurements for crimp fittings are made as inner diameter (I.D.) measurements.

I used these with the vevor 1/2” hydraulic hose to rebuild my skid steer hydraulics and they fit perfectly. They crimped very nicely and I haven’t had any leaks as of yet. They appear to be good quality at a very decent price.

Exactly what we needed for the ends of hydraulic hoses for the tractor. The price was so good and quality great, we ended up purchasing 2 more sets for other hoses.

I used these on a trailer hydraulic system that had a hydraulic bever tail. The ends worked great and allowed us to control the trailers rear mounted rams, that lift and lower the rear most section of the deck. Biggest issue was finding a shop that would crimp the hose ends for us, as most wanted to only crimp the ends they sold, at 4-5 times the price.
