This thing is a tank. I ordered this router lift along with a more "standard" sized router lift at the same time to compare and see which one I would install in my table. Upon arrival I can verify that this router lift stands on a whole nother level. everything about it is overbuilt and built like a beast. It makes the other name brand router lift look like a baby lift. Rod guide rods and threaded rod is almost twice the diameter and the router housing is insanely solid. This thing is a total win for the price.I had to purchase the adapter ring for my Bosche router and the adapter works perfectly. I love the option to be able to change my router size in the future if I need without having to change lifts.Like others have said, this thing is on another level for rigidity and build quality. Very impressed. I've been using it for about a week now and the thing is a beast.Also I have read other reviews on here saying that the cutout insert is slightly larger that the standard router lift plates on most lifts, but the other name brand lift that I purchased along with this one had the exact same sized top plate as this one, so I am not sure if that has been updated since, but there were no problems there.Overall, incredibly impressed with this lift for the $250 I paid for it. Quite a cool piece of kit.

First thing to note - it doesn't fit my sawstop cast iron router table which i had intended to use it with. This is entirely my fault as I didn't do a thorough job reading the description. Lesson learned. It does however come with a template for cutting it into a table top of your choosing.My mistake aside, this is a really well built unit. I was able to run it through its paces in my home hobby shop in a different table set up and really liked how solid, rigid and accurate it was.

I love woodworking and a router is an important tool to do many fancy and simple wood shaping tasks for me. I was VERY impressed with this big, solid and superb router lift. The device is made of big, strong machined aluminum plates with 2 big steel shafts to provide rock solid router accuracy and has a screw lift. The brass lifting screw guide (P.2) is long and closely fits the large and long fine threaded lifting screw with zero wiggle. The topside screw handle (P.7) is also machined aluminum & steel. The bit shields are red plastic. The kit has excellent instructions on building a cabinet for this lift. They've even included a 1/4" shank 1/2" diameter x 1 1/4" bearing guided 2 flute tungsten carbide straight router bit (last picture) to assist with the cabinet build along with full hardware.I was impressed to no end with this router lift. This is so excellent I purchased their small router collar which will allow me to use a small trim router mounted if I wish. That is also machined aluminum and is in the next to the last photo inside the router lift holdfast. Note it does NOT come with this kit but needs to be purchased separate. The Seller also has other products such as a fence. I will be putting this together when I have more time with a sheet of 1" plywood for the cabinet.I Highly Recommend this ZahyoX Brand Router Lift System Full Installation Set with 9-1/4" x 11-4/5" Aluminum Plate, Insert Ring, Hex Keys. This is a router lifting work of art! It's beautiful! I know it's a tool and needs to work, get dirty and then work some more, but ..... it is just so good looking! And it's a complete install kit! (Actual router adapter rings must be ordered separately)It comes really well packaged, with inner and outer cartons and plenty of shock padding for the trip.The lifting mechanism is smooth as silk and cleanable with an air nozzle.They've prepped the buyer for success by including tools, fasteners and guides for setup.The instruction manual is straightforward, written in very good American English and includes instructions for building an appropriate router table top...... they've even included a router bit for that job!This is the good stuff! The unit came triple boxed from Amazon and is richly padded inside the final box. The instructions are not the awkwardly translated Chinese we're used to seeing but articulate English.They aren't kidding when they say this is 9.8 inches wide. It really won't fit in a 9.75" hole in the common router tables available today. That means you'll have to either build a new table or go to a fair bit of effort to enlarge the one you have. There's also a ring to use as a template for a new hole which requires a top bearing router bit. I'll have to build that new router table myself so this review is preliminary.I can't feel any play in the screw. Backlash may be minimal.The unit is almost ridiculously overbuilt. If you've doubted a router could replace a shaper you might be surprised at how solidly this is built.
