Helps us keep an eye on our lake property while we are away. Charge seems to last a long time. Almost a year when fully charged. We will be getting a solar charger for those in the sun. Because it’s a pain to do without during the time of charging as 2 of them are not close to an outlet.

The power supplies included with this product are underpowered. After seeing the batteries slowly deplete when the camera is set to full resolution (and 15 minute snapshots), I found the power supplies shipped with this product are only 1-AMP which are not adequate for the recommended 2-AMP draw. I found this recommendation, “The Ring camera requires a minimum of 2 amps to function properly.”

I have many outdoor Ring cameras with several plugged into an electrical plug-in box. These cords are perfect to fit into a Ring camera and also have a USB end to fit into a regular USB plug-in adapter. If this cord was not long enough you can add an extra extension cord to the USB plug-in adapter. Just need to make sure connections are not affected by moisture. I will buy these again because they might fail after extended use in weathered conditions.
