⭐ 1 Star – Stopped Working After a Month!I had high hopes for this ring light, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. It worked fine for the first few weeks, but then the problems started. After turning it off, it refused to turn back on unless I unplugged and replugged it—only for it to fail again shortly after.I tested different power sources, but the issue persisted. Clearly, there’s a serious defect with either the wiring or the power switch. For a product that’s meant to last, one month of use is unacceptable.Save yourself the hassle and invest in a higher-quality ring light—this one is not worth the frustration. I’ll be returning it and looking elsewhere.

I like that this doesn’t show the circle light reflection in my zoom calls. Effective lighting without people knowing you have a light in front of you.

I purchased this light to replace the Eyeocean lamp I purchased during the pandemic. I like that this lamp is easy to assemble, sturdy enough not to fall over if I bump against the desk, and the non-slip base prevents it from sliding. It would be a bit more versatile if it was like my old lamp, a clamp-on with an adjustable arm, but it's not a deal-breaker. I also like that it has an adjustable cellphone holder. I was using a separate phone holder which took up precious space on my desk. There are three options for the type of light (white/cool, bluish/fluorescent, and yellow/warm). I do like that this lamp doesn't produce a harsh glaring light--even on a bright setting.

I have fluorescent lighting in my office. And it makes my complexion look much green and grey. It was a distracted me to see myself looking so green while on for Zoom calls when in the office. (I added a photo of me wearing green so that you can see what I look like under normal lighting - warm and daylight bulbs.)Adding a ring light helped, but the light only turned my complexion back to orange/brown on the side of my face closer to the light. And it was distracting the see the light shining bright to try and counter the green skin effect. (I added a photo showing this. As you can see, half of my face is still in the dark. I opted not to post the photo with no lights on... but picture my whole face looking like the dark gray/green side.) I also wasn't happy with because I had to turn the light all the way up and then I could see the bright light in front of me the entire time it was on. And, I felt that I still looked somewhat off.So then I added this light. I love the fact that I can reposition it so that it is not on my monitor, it looks better on my desk than a 3 legged tripod, and it does not block my view of the tabletop mirror that I keep next to my monitor to check my appearance. Most importantly, it's a bright glow that lights up most of my face while still elevated upwards so that it does not bother me. (So, as you can see from the photo, my face just has some shadow but less than with the ring light.)Finally, when I used my old light as a fill light to counter the shadows along with this one, the warmest light not only counters the green grey fluorescent lighting, but also, it activates that built in beauty filter in Zoom ("Touch Up My Appearance" setting) making me look much younger and much better. So... bonus!So, if it's not obvious, I REALLY love this light. It's such a relief to finally find such a simple and elegant solution for when I need to be on camera. It really is nice to have the larger, evenly lit panel than a small light or a ring light.

I leave this plugged into my laptop 24/7 and have the light turned on about 8-4 hours per day. I’ve never had any issues with overheating and the adjustable brightness and lighting shades make it perfect for correcting lighting any time of day. Transparently, I do not use the phone holder so I can’t speak to that but overall very satisfied with the purchase!

It is a good concept. Unfortunately, it has a mind of its own. Even plugged in, it won't turn on. And when it's turned on, it suddenly goes off.

Good quality and very sturdy. The cord is a good length, not too short but not too long. Doesn’t support RGB options but it works for what I need. I stream and this saved me a lot of money. The brightness is great and the light options are satisfactory. Only issue is that the stand isn’t very tall but I set it on my speakers and it works perfect.

PROS:- Light is lightweight, easy angle adjustments- Folds down to be compact, which is great for storage and transportation- Base is durable and sturdy and durable- The phone clamp that attaches to the base can easily be taken on/off, or adjusted at different heights of the base- Magnet products (i.e. apple watch charger) sticks to the base- Price for qualityCONS:The plastic phone attachment, I have iPhone 14 Pro Max:- Angle of the phone does not stay consistent on the mount.- I had difficulty using it for facetime, front camera filming, and using the Da Vinci Eye app (why there’s some paint on the product photo)Length of the cord:- I have a motorized standing desk, so I am constantly adjusting my desk to different heights. Would be nice to have a longer cord attachmentHiding the cord:- This might be a personal preference, but I found hiding the cord difficultADDITIONAL:- Would be great if there were additional mount options for the light, since the light itself is very lightweight (i.e. a laptop safe clamp/mount or magsafe attachment on back of the light)
