WHAT IS A TIE ROD END? A tie rod end (also known as a tie rod) is part of your vehicle’s steering system - it ties various steering components together to allow your wheels to turn. Tie rod ends are built with a ball-and-socket design, just like your hip, and need to be replaced as they wear out. A worn tie rod end causes poor handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve an alignment, which leads to rapid tire wear. Installed these components and was very satisfied with their build quality, that is not the issue, THE HARDWARE INCLUDED, is in no way Grade 8. With normal driving, no offroading, no severe duty other than towing a trailer, or just some curvy roads, somehow the threads of the castle nut pulled out , disconnecting, allowing the tie rod to come loose on the passenger side, which in turn caused damage to the rest of the components that I JUST REPLACED with all proforged components, not to mention the steering box, tire, and control arm. I almost lost my truck, and potentially my life. You guys really need to make this right.
