On the one hand, they are emitters. What could go wrong. However, we all have emitters in our drip systems that have somehow failed. While I have always assumed that they were clogged, I never really diagnosed them. I banged them and messed with them and then just grabbed a new one from my stockpile and replaced them. So, I can't really asses (as it's winter now and I have not yet installed them) whether they work. I will assume they do (thus, the 5 stars) and get back if it turns out I am wrong. But, as mentioned, I do go through emitters... and having so many now in my arsenal (even if I have to replace them a bit more often) is comforting. (Although I do regret all the plastic... so I'll do even more than before to make sure I unclog rather than replace them whenever possible.)For the price... that's a lot of emitters! I think it's a screaming deal. Again, I'll report back later in spring.I hope this helps.

These flag drippers come in 3 ziploc bags packed into another bag that's taped like crazy. They're a bit bigger than the J-Loc flag drippers from the local irrigation supply warehouse. Only marked in liters per hour but not in gallons per hour. It's not hard to do the math but it would have been nice to have gph markings if you're selling in the US. Black flag should have been marked 4 L/H but 4 is missing so you're left to guess what the value is. Now, if you've done drip irrigation before, you would know the color coding but this is retail sale, not wholesale to landscapers, so I would expect clear markings.Keep in mind that flag drippers are NOT pressure compensated, so depending on your water pressure and how many drippers you have on the line, the gph output will vary. I attached a graph from J-Loc that gives tested values for their flag drippers, this brand doesn't give out any values so you'll have to test for yourself or just wing it. If you want a more accurate water volume, that doesn't vary much depending on water pressure and the number of drippers, go ahead and buy pressure compensated button drippers instead.

These flag drippers are just like the ones that I am used to using. They drip the same way. Twist the flag and remove it to clean the dripper.They come in a range of three three drip capacities. And they are color coded to make it easy.Highly recommended.
