How to use the CarPlay and Android Auto?

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Setup:

• Step 1:Turn on Bluetooth and WiFi on your phone.Make sure both Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on your smartphone. This is essential for establishing a wireless connection.
• Step 2: Search for the Bluetooth device named "CARKIT" on your phone.Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and search for available devices. Look for the device named "CARKIT."
• Step 3: Select "Pair" to connect the Bluetooth. Tap on "CARKIT" in the list of available devices and follow the prompts to pair your phone with the touchscreen system.
• Step 4:Click "Use CarPlay" on your phone. After pairing, a prompt may appear on your phone asking if you want to use CarPlay. Select "Use CarPlay" to initiate the connection.
• Step 5: Select "Wireless CarPlay" on the screen's home page.On the touch screen, navigate to the home page and select "Wireless CarPlay" to start using CarPlay wirelessly.

• Follow the same steps for Android Auto.

For Android Auto, follow steps 1 to 5, ensuring you select the corresponding Android Auto option where necessary.

• Wired CarPlay and Android Auto Setup:

Connect the screen to your phone using a high-quality USB cable.Use a reliable USB cable to connect your phone to the touch screen. This will automatically prompt the system to launch CarPlay or Android Auto, depending on your device.

Trouble shooting Guide

• 1.The device cannot be turned on and off normally.

Check whether the device's power adapter cable and the power plug behind the screen areplugged in tightly, and check whether the factory-set model options are correct.

• 2. There is no sound in the new system after installation.

Confirm whether the original car system has the option to select AUX for external devices, and thenPlay audio on new system. Note: Low-end models need to connect the AUX/AMl cable.

• 3. The original car MMl knob cannot be used.

Check whether the MMl plug on the power cord is plugged in properly, whether the CD plug in thepassenger storage box is plugged in properly, and whether the vehicle model setting is correct.

• 4. The original car system interface displays a blurred screen or displays incompletely.

On the new system, tap Settings, Factory Settings, Password 8866, and select the correspondingmodel option after entering. After selecting, return to the original car system to confirm whether it is normal. Note that selecting the wrong car model will cause the original car system to display abnormally,device protocols to be blocked, and unable to start and shut down normally. If the car model is set correctly and the original car system still cannot display normally, click thesmall gray triangle on the right side of the original car system to select the corresponding originalcar display resolution.

• 5. CarPlay/Android Auto cannot be connected or the connection is very slow.

Check whether the Bluetooth of the mobile phone is connected to multiple Bluetooth devices at thesame time. Normally, you need to delete the Bluetooth of the original car and other Bluetoothdevices, and only connect the CARKIT/BTXXX Bluetooth of the screen.

• 6. No image is displayed in the rear view when reversing. Confirm the camera type.

lf it is the original car camera, go to the settings menu, reverse settingsand select the original car camera. lf it is a rear-mounted AHD camera, you need to select therear-mounted camera type. lt is recommended that the rear-mounted camera draw power from thepower cord above the camera power cord instead of the original car's reversing light, otherwise itwill cause the camera to have a black screen or a flickering screen.
