I ordered these paper straws because we are trying to eliminate plastic straws.They come vacuum packed in thick plastic. Irony at its best.

I bought these from my 5-Year-Old daughter to drink her liquid medicine with. I thought the fun colors would make her take it more easily and she does like the colors. I don't think they would hold up if you had them in a drink for a long time, but they work really well for the little time it takes her to drink her medicine.

These straws took me down a really fun time as a girl. I used them to pass out leamon aide drink and other cool beverages. I would have preferred them to be a bit shorter but, they worked just the same.

description says 5" but straws are 7.7" (too long for me to use) colorful and sturdy, just not as described although one photo shows correct size
