Pros: Size 0 is perfect for smaller fish like crappie, perch, walleye, bass, and should even be strong enough for norther pike less than 10 lbs in size. Very good spring steel feel and strong with good temper strength. Excellent quality and I would highly recommend them.Cons: None, these quick fasteners are perfect for most all freshwater fishing. Not recommended for trying to land larger fish like big northern pike or 40+ pound catfish.Summary: for a size 0 they perform more like a size 4! Very strong and reliable and won't fail when you are landing a feisty hard fighting fish. Small enough to work ok for quick change of larger flies and streamers, plugs and spinner baits. Combine this with a good quality ball bearing swivel if you use a spinning or spincast real to avoid line twist.

Every year I go fishing, realize I need these clips, so I go to my local fishing supply house and find that they're sold out. This time, I beat the rush and they're exactly what I neededThese are well made. They flex and lock into place as needed to provide for secure attachments to your fishing rig and they're corrosion resistant. The best part is that they're offered at a great price. You can't go wrong with these.

I ordered the heavier weight clips for our crab pot bait bags. The clips are well made and function easily. So far we have not lost any gear using these clips. Great for clipping your bait bags onto your crab pots.

I got these for my tip ups ice fishing, have used about 10 of them and they seem to have consistent quality. These are not as good as VMC swivels, but that is to be expected. The metal does have strong memory, i messed up a couple trying to attach to a swivel. However, at this price point, it cannot be beat and ill deal with the memory. Its great having a stock on hand.

Review of ”DunkTeam 100PCS Size 0-8 Stainless Steel Duo Lock Snap Clip Swivel...":(Please refer to my reviewing guidelines at the bottom of the page). We live on our 52' Trawler 100% of the time and anchor out and travel 99.99% of the time. These work great for fishing, but we use this type of clip for things other than fishing too. Such as when we want to tie something to something else with a 1/4" or smaller light duty rope and also able to be quickly removed. These #8 clips that I purchased are as described except that they are a blackish color and just a little shorter measuring 46.5mm instead of the advertised 48mm. They appear to be just as good as any others that I've purchased in the past except they are quite magnetic which means that they are either a typical 304 stainless or possibly one of the 400 series stainless steels and that is why they are coated and come in a blackish color.I've done a bit of market research on Amazon for this specific type of product and find that at $9.85 these are priced on the very low side of the market and are a good buy. I've assigned 5 stars due to the overall excellent value of the product as compared to the competitive market. My responsibility as an Amazon Vine Reviewer:Considering the Amazon rules/regulations for being a Vine Member It is obvious that it is very important to Amazon that the person doing the review has indeed inspected, tested, used the product as well as being aware of the competitive situation of the market segment. This is so it can be fairly compared and reviewed whether good, bad, average, or anywhere in all of the grey area between. One thing that I wish were better defined by Amazon is exactly what each star should represent from 1 to 5 so that every Vine member would use the same guide in that regard. So, to let you know the guide that I use, I include it as follows:I always start off considering that average is 3 stars, and an average rating to me is: The product was correctly represented in the ad. The manufacturing quality is as expected. The product performed as intended. The product operating/user guide if needed is helpful. The product is priced accordingly. Then after inspection, measuring, testing, using, wearing, or whatever is required I add or subtract from the average as follows: Subject to additional stars: Additional product features not expected that are useful. Manufacturing quality/performance above what was stated or expected. Included guides and/or useful information that is beyond the norm. Product pricing highly competitive for a superior product. Subject to fewer stars: The product was misrepresented in the ad. Manufacturing quality/performance below what was stated or expected. No useful guide or understandable user information when required. Product pricing is on the high side considering quality, features, or the market.all the best,dr

These fishing snaps are as expected. They came in a very small zip bag. I actually took them out and counted them: one hundred, exactly as promised. I also pulled one apart, and looked it over. I did not detect any rough spots or anything particularly problematic. They are quite small; a bit smaller than I had anticipated. I ordered the “0” size, the smallest, which is listed at one-half inch. I measured it, and found it to be just slightly smaller than that. I don’t mean that as a complaint—just trying to help people figure out what size to get. These would be sized for your smallest trout spinners or something like that. Also, they are kind of dark gray. Between the color and the size, I found it a bit of a challenge to see which way they need to be worked to unsnap them. No big deal, but I would advise buying a size slightly bigger than what you think you need.

These would be good if they were a little bigger. They are just too tiny for most fishing. They work fine, but for a man with big hands the are difficult to operate. Get a bigger size and you will be happy. These are only about 3/8 inch .
