The sanding pads wear out very quickly. Cheaply made. I wouldn’t buy again.

Best to expect usage to be lite hobby/craft related, not heavy duty use. Low to medium speed is recommended as the attachment arbors are not perfectly round which causes vibration and are hard to keep in control. That being said, this kit does what it needs to on small projects. Ample assortment of grit grades. The Velcro attachments make changing grit pads quick and easy. Overall, this is a nice assortment for the DIY hobbiest/homeowner.

Fantastic set. I bought another brand a few months ago and the foam fell apart almost immediately. This one feels much stronger and has worked great so far.

Very useful accessory to have. The pads stay in place very well and do a good job. Good number and assortment of pads. Great to have as a substitute for a rotary sander

Sand paper does what it does. But would not recommend if wanting to use for wet-sanding.It will work for a little bit, but the paper separates from the cloth that velcros to the pad.Still happens after lowering rpm’s but still enough rpm to not bog down enough to stop tool from spinning with minimal pressure.

This was a great tool for fixing my leaky toilet flapper. I have a old style bronze flapper seat that had become a bit eroded in in a small section of the face that comes in contact with the silicone flapper seal, I'm getting too old to do a full replacement so I tried to hand sand or file the face but it's very tight quarters inside the tank and also you need to be careful to grind the bronze seat level and flat without gouging it unevenly. This 3 inch sander was the right diameter and comes with a 1/4 inch driver bit, I used a 12 inch drill shaft extension extension bit to reach to the bottom of the tank (I got the SeonFook 12 Inch Extension Bit Holder Magnetic Drill Bit Extension Bar Quick Release Change 1/4 Inch Hex Shank Extension Rod Socket Bit Holder for Power Drill ) which was ideal because the red tip that locks the bit into place spins like a bearing so you can hold that to steady the sanding pad while running the drill. This project was much easier than taking the entire toilet tank off and replacing the flapper valve unit and I saved money as well. Here's a link to the drill extensionhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B09G6P154V?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsNOTE: this method is for Bronze/Brass flapper seats... it may work for plastic seats but you would have to be careful not to sand too aggressively and use only fine grain sandpaper disks. When sanding the bronze/brass seat I started with 180grit until I couldn't feel the corroded spot with my fingernail then used progressively finer grits ending up with 400grit to finish.UPDATE: I'm pleased to report that it's been over two years since I fixed the toilet flapper leak and it is still working great. This tool would save time and money for anyone who needs a quick durable fix for flapper leaks due to a corroded seat because sometime you don't want to pay a plumber or spend all day fixing it with new parts.
